For over 30 years, Evolucare has been supporting the digital transformation of the medico-social sector, with a clear objective: to promote inclusive care that is accessible to all.

This year marks an important milestone with the 20th anniversary of the law of 11 February 2005, a major step forward for the rights of people with disabilities.

The Disability Act: a framework for inclusion

📜 The french law of 11 February 2005 marks a major step forward for the rights of people with disabilities in France. It is based on three main principles:

  • Equal rights and opportunities, by guaranteeing access to healthcare, education, employment and public services.
  • Universal accessibility, by requiring the adaptation of infrastructures and digital tools.
  • Compensation for disability, by ensuring that assistance is tailored to the needs of each individual.

This law has laid the foundations for a more inclusive society, and Evolucare is fully committed to this through its innovative and accessible solutions.

A collective step towards a more inclusive society

Because inclusion also means digital accessibility, Evolucare has redesigned the Imago DU user portal so that it complies with the RGAA (french WCAG) and is fully usable by the visually impaired. This development means that users and their families can interact with their files and follow their support in complete autonomy. This is an essential step forward in promoting the digital inclusion of people with disabilities.

Over the last 20 years, this law has led to significant progress:

  • Better access to public places and transport for people with disabilities.
  • Strengthening support systems in education and employment.
  • Developing digital services to ensure they are accessible to all.é accrue.

However, there are still many challenges to be met if this momentum is to be maintained and full inclusion guaranteed. This is a commitment that concerns all players in the medical-social sector, public authorities and civil society.

Let’s continue to build a more inclusive future

20 years on, let’s celebrate this breakthrough and keep up our efforts to build an ever more accessible and inclusive society!

📢 Let’s stay committed! This law has laid a solid foundation, but it is essential that we continue our efforts to further strengthen the inclusion of people with disabilities.
