Evolucare Analytics and Handy’Up: a collaboration to structure data and optimise social care management
The digitisation of social care establishments is a major challenge for guaranteeing better data traceability and optimising the care of users. Handy’Up, an association committed to supporting people with disabilities, has chosen Evolucare Analytics to structure and centralise its data.
The solution is currently being configured by Handy’Up teams, under the supervision of Géraldine Durieux, digital transformation project manager, in collaboration with Evolucare experts. The aim is to provide reliable indicators tailored to the needs of establishments, while facilitating their future deployment.
A need to structure data for better management
Before starting its work to optimise indicators and the management of establishments, Handy’Up first structured its information system by deploying IMAGO DU. This digital transition marked a major step forward, making it possible to centralise user information, ensure better traceability of pathways and harmonise practices within the structures.
‘We have taken a big step forward by moving from paper to a unified digital solution. Today, IMAGO DU has become our data repository and we have achieved a usage rate of 99.6%, which shows that it has been successfully adopted by the teams,’ explains Géraldine Durieux.
Thanks to this modernisation, Handy’Up now has a solid digital foundation, facilitating day-to-day management and improving the quality of user monitoring within its establishments.
Subsequently, the association chose Evolucare Analytics to address the lack of harmonisation and centralisation of data. The information was scattered across several media, often on paper or in Excel files, making monitoring complex and tedious.
The Handy’Up Associative Group was created on 1 January 2019 from the merger of Adapei de Haute-Saône and AGEI de Côte-d’Or. It supports nearly 1,300 people with disabilities, supported by more than 900 employees spread across 33 establishments and services in Haute-Saône and eastern Côte-d’Or. Its missions cover three main sectors: childhood, accommodation and work. Handy’Up is committed to guaranteeing a chosen and fluid life path for each person, promoting inclusion in all areas of life and supporting family carers.
In this context, Handy’Up has chosen Evolucare Analytics to build a solid foundation, prior to a gradual rollout to its establishments.
« We are still in the configuration phase, but the idea is to build a tool that really meets the needs of the field and is easy for teams to use. » – Géraldine Durieux
Why Handy’Up chose Evolucare Analytics
The choice of Evolucare Analytics was made for several reasons :
- A flexible and customisable platform, capable of being adjusted to Handy’Up’s specific needs.
- An intuitive interface, facilitating appropriation by the teams once the tool is fully operational.
- Automation of indicators, avoiding the use of Excel files and reducing the risk of error.
- Dedicated support, allowing the configuration to be fine-tuned according to the requirements in the field.
« We are working hand in hand with the Evolucare teams to set up relevant and realistic dashboards. Each indicator must have real added value for our establishments. » – Géraldine Durieux
A configuration in progress for the efficient management of the activity in the future
- The first settings relate to the structuring of regulatory indicators and internal monitoring.
- Tests are carried out to validate the relevance of the dashboards before they are made available to the establishments.
- The teams ensure that the data entered will be usable and will accurately reflect the reality on the ground.
« The parameterisation is a key stage: it allows us to define coherent and usable indicators. We test different scenarios to guarantee a tool that will really facilitate the work of the teams. » – Géraldine Durieux
Expected benefits once the solution is operational
Even if Evolucare Analytics is not yet used in the establishments, Handy’Up already foresees several concrete benefits :
- Time saved on data collection and analysis, by eliminating manual work on Excel.
- Better visibility on users’ personalised projects, thanks to clear and up-to-date dashboards.
- More precise management, making it possible to identify areas for improvement and anticipate needs.
« Today, we spend a lot of time compiling data. With Evolucare Analytics, the aim is to centralise everything and have information that can be used directly. » – Géraldine Durieux
Another key challenge is compliance with regulatory requirements. Evolucare Analytics is designed to enable full traceability and automate the production of the reports required by the supervisory authorities.
The next stages: towards a progressive launch
Handy’Up and Evolucare are working together to finalise the configuration and prepare users for the arrival of the tool.
- Mid-2025: validation of the first indicators and start of an experiment with a few establishments.
- End of 2025: first feedback and adjustments if necessary before a possible wider roll-out.
« We are proceeding in stages: first, we are conducting internal tests, then we will gather feedback from the field teams before rolling out the tool more widely. » – Géraldine Durieux
Evolucare Analytics, a strategic lever for Handy’Up
Although still in the configuration phase, Evolucare Analytics promises to be a real asset for Handy’Up. By structuring the data and optimising the indicators, the solution will improve the day-to-day management and strategic steering of the establishments.
