The Evolucare ‘family’ has a new member with a big heart: the docteur Clown association.
Renowned for bringing joy and light-heartedness to hospitals, this association shares with us a common vision of healthcare, where the human being is at the centre of all attention. In 2024, we will be working alongside docteur Clown to brighten up the daily lives of patients, young and old, through a series of joint initiatives. This partnership is part of our ongoing mission to build a fairer, more efficient and more humane healthcare system.

A marginal, offbeat character, the clown is a distorting mirror that provokes laughter, pleasure and astonishment, because it allows established codes to be transgressed. In hospital, the clown is an outlet for the pressure of the place. By playing the role of disrupter, his presence does not erase the pain of sick children, but keeps it at bay. A real catalyst, the clown helps the child to overcome the anxiety of hospitalisation.
The clowns, in their own way, take care of the child, the family and the carers. By bringing them a world of laughter, colour, magic, storytelling and music.
They contribute to:
- Relaxing sick children and taking their minds off hospital.
- Reinforce the effectiveness of therapeutic actions undertaken by medical teams.

In 1995, our team founded the docteur Clown association to bring professional clowns, jugglers and magicians to hospital children.”
